Our Story<\/h2>

Disability employment in America has a paradox at its heart. Roughly 13% of the population has a disability. Most working-age disabled adults who want jobs face an unemployment rate roughly double that of their non-disabled peers, and three out of four aren\u2019t in the labor force at all. At the same time, employers say they want to hire disabled workers but don\u2019t know where to find candidates, how to accommodate them, or how to design inclusive workplaces.

\nMeanwhile, an enormous network of organizations already exists to help: The Arc and its 600+ chapters, state vocational rehabilitation agencies, Centers for Independent Living, WIOA-funded American Job Centers, and hundreds of community nonprofits. The talent is there. The infrastructure is there. The employers are there.

\nWhat\u2019s missing is alignment.<\/b> That\u2019s why we exist.<\/i>
